Thurston & Eva Moore

Thurston and Eva founded Ecstatic Peace Library books in 2009 initially to release the exhibition catalogue This Train Is Bound for Glory by photographer Justine Kurland. They’ve published several titles including facsimiles of Musics and Ripped & Torn, the autobiographies of musicians David Toop, and Necrobutcher from the band Mayhem, a catalogue raisonne of composer Luc Ferrari, an exhibition catalogue for Mersey poet and artist Adrian Henri, and most recently, a comprehensive book of interviews with the members and community of The Velvet Underground entitled Linger On by Ignacio Julia.

Thurston and Eva founded the Daydream Library Series record label in 2018 initially to release the debut album of London’s feminist, punk band Big Joanie, and have released on the label several more emerging voices including Seafoam Walls and Las Nubes from Miami, electronic musician Xopher Davidson from Northern California, and most recently the debut EP from Devon Ross. 

Alongside their various activities in the musical world, Thurston & Eva are involved with publishing and poetry, and teach writing at The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, Boulder CO, a programme founded by Allen Ginsberg and Anne Waldman in 1974.  Thurston & Eva Moore reside in London.

Reed Smidebush

Reed helps steer the boat at Daydream Library Series / Ecstatic Peace, and is otherwise a fan of Kate Bush in his free and non-free time. He also works with The Lemonheads, Dirty Projectors, Kiwi Jr., Guided By Voices, Chimera Music, and more. Reed lives in Brooklyn.
